Keeping a diary—recording precious moments
寫日記--記錄珍貴的時(shí)刻
It has been a long time since I kept a diary,
自從我開(kāi)始寫日記已經(jīng)有很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間了,
but I am then thinking more and more about the value of some kind of journal.
但我對(duì)于日記的價(jià)值思考的越來(lái)越多。
Although writing daily in a diary is tough, it's good a habit to have, especially when learning a language, or if you want to be some kind of writer.
雖然每天記日記很艱難,但這是很好的一種習(xí)慣,尤其是當(dāng)學(xué)習(xí)一種語(yǔ)言,或者如果你想成為某種形式的作家。
Getting into the habit of writing a little bit everyday, is supposedly one of the important things a writer can do.
讓自己對(duì)于每天寫一點(diǎn)變得習(xí)慣,這被認(rèn)為是身為一名作家可以做的最重要的事情。
Yesterday, I was thinking about great scenes of movies and I got to thinking about the great scenes of my own life,

scenes that I should remember, that I should write down somewhere.
我應(yīng)該記住的那些片段,我應(yīng)該寫下來(lái)。
As time goes by, I tend to forget those things.
隨著時(shí)間的流逝,我往往忘記那些東西。
As time goes by, the things tend to lose focus,
隨著時(shí)間的.流逝,事情往往將會(huì)失去焦點(diǎn),
they tend to become less sharp, they fade a little.
它們會(huì)變得不那么尖銳,甚至?xí)幸稽c(diǎn)褪色。
So, I'm starting to write stuff down more and more.
所以,我開(kāi)始寫的東西就越來(lái)越多。
It's amazing how many things wakes experience in a day or in a week.
很令人驚訝,這么多的事要在一天醒來(lái)后或者在一星期內(nèi)經(jīng)歷,
but if you don't take the time to write some of those things down, the days just blur.
但是如果你不花時(shí)間去記錄一些事物,日子就會(huì)一天天變得模糊起來(lái)。
It's hard to separate one day from another, time surely does fly by.
很難把一天從另外一天分開(kāi),時(shí)間肯定已經(jīng)流逝。
Capturing the precious moments in a lives with words,
那就用話語(yǔ)捕捉生活中珍貴的時(shí)刻,
in little stories, seems necessary to make your own lives more colorful,
這些小故事似乎成了使自己的生活更加豐富多彩的必需品,
even when we feel a little blue.
即使我們覺(jué)得有點(diǎn)悶。
We can look at those memories, those moments, and feel uplifted.
我們可以看看那些記憶,那些時(shí)刻,從而感到某種振奮。
